Late in the day on Sunday June 14 as we were walking along the Lakeshore Trail in Mitchell’s Bay we saw quite a handful of Turtles along the bank one even crossed the road albeit very slowly as they always have moved. We parked at the end of Angler’s Line and walked all the way to the Flintstone Car that is on display, along the way we encounted quite a few wood carved statues including this one which my father affectionately called “The Caterpillar”
