Ever since I was old enough to count Regis Philbin was always a familiar presence on my TV. From his eponymous morning talk show to his amazing run on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, He holds the Guinness world record for most hours spent in front of a TV camera at an impressive 15,188 hours. This distinction earned Regis the nickname “The Hardest Working Man In Show Business”
sadly he died today of natural causes at the age of 88, one month shy of his 89th birthday.
