Movie Review: The Tuxedo

“You Forgot One Thing, My Name Is Tong”

Jimmy Tong The Tuxedo

Action superstar Jackie Chan is literally “Dressed To Kill” in this hilarious action blockbuster which co-stars Jennifer Love-Hewitt.

Local Cab Driver Jimmy Tong is personally selected to be the limousine driver of billionaire Clark Devlin whose only rule is to never touch his prized tuxedo

When Devlin is temporarily put out of commission in an accident, Tong decides to try on the Tuxedo and soon discovers that it is more Black Belt than Black Tie. Paired with a partner as inexperienced as he is, Tong becomes an unwitting secret agent.

This film marks the directorial debut of Kevin Donovan who was previously known for his work in TV Commercials from a story by Michael J. Wilson which in my opinion is perfectly executed, one of the few DreamWorks live action films I actually loved. Jackie Chan’s amazingly choreographed fighting skills are on full display for all to see and Jennifer Love Hewitt adds star packed support to an amazing storyline that will have you wanting more from start to finish.
