This looks like a scene out of Alberta but it is in Dresden Ontario, It was a bit like the Wild West in Dresden Wednesday when a bunch of cattle escaped from their home at Riverbell Market Garden at the end of Sydenham St. and made their way into town. The cattle were corralled at Kinsmen Park and then, around 6 pm, cowboys came in to help round up the meandering animals. It wasn’t that easy. With nearly a dozen people trying to capture the four bulls, they bolted across St. George St, down Holden and out to the Uncle Tom’s cabin where the we’re finally contained. Public swimming had to be cancelled because of the roaming bulls.
